Building a Composite Model

 

Composite Models are models that can be reused. Examples of Composite Models are: a Pump, a Heat Exchanger, a Flash Tank, a Total_Flow_Sensor. Composite Models can be constructed in a variety of ways and can be constructed to do a variety of things. Composite models:

  1. always have a symbol
  2. usually have a method (an interior)
  3. usually have data items and

In this Section you learn to create a Composite Model. The working flow is illustrated for the creation of a Two-Stage Flash composite model. The composite model can be used to replace the sequence of two flashes in the Two-Stage Flash Case Model.
